Troops marching into Paris picture
I reciently found an old photo that shows the American army marching thru Paris, we all know this picture. The copy I have is marked by my father at that time
Lt Melvin "Dutch" Barrilleaux indicated by marker that he was the soilder on the front row far left, and that Lt James Condon was either the second or third from the left. I also have notes that indicate that many of these guys were at the three battles Arnaville, Altuzzo and Schmidt as well as the HuertgenForest. Can anyone shine some light on this?
