You may be correct. My interest is in a Photo that was always hanging up on the wall in my fathers home/study. It is a clear picture of him along with a couple of others soilders that he identified, and that were in the 28th Inf. Div. 112th Inf Reg. He was C.O. of Easy Company, and on the front row far left. others onthe first row were mostly all first and second Lt's 2nd (Platoon Leaders). I confirmed since my last posting. My only interest is in identifying as many of the soilders as possible while there as still some that remember. That picture is indead the one that was shown in the Stars and Stripes and other home town news papers, and later a postage stamp was created in their honor. They may be more versions, and the 28th may not have been the first to march into Paris, but the photo I reference is the 28th, and shows three officers leading the Division. They are from left to right Capt Graham S3,Capt Charles Crain H C. C.O., Lt Eldeen H Kauffman F Co. C.O. Any other information as to the identies of the men on the front row would be appreciated for their recognition.
