James Bradley was the son of Patrick Bradley(deceased March 1931) and Mary Ann O'Donnell Bradley. He was their only son, Jim had 5 sisters(all deceased now too)Susan B,Bradley DiRocco,Helen J Bradley Tuffli,Margaret Mary Bradley Nelson, Mary Rita Bradley Lynch, and Theresa Bradley KotarskiJim's wife's name was Dorothy Mackin Bradley.
Jim was my uncle as well as my "God Father".I know he was in ww 2 in the European theater and I'm trying to learn all I can about him.He died in Saugus Ma on Jan 9 1957. I don't know about his army experiences/records and that is what I'm most interested in learning here.
Jim lived in Salem Ma all his life. His parents lived at 3 Logan Street, later Jim and his family lived on Balcomb Street(i think this was where they lived while he was in the army?) and later still at 23 Maple Street.
Him was the City Solicitor in Salem Ma in the early 1950's under Mayor Collins I think. He was a lawyer.
But thats background information.I'd really, as I said like to know about his military years. Where was he stationed, prior to going to Europe. Are any of his "buddies" still around?Jim would be about 95 or so now so thats doubtful. But maybe someone that knew Jim, and his military life, could/can help.
Thank you again so very much for any help.It takes forever to get any help from Washington DC etc, and you need more specific information than I have.
