Sergeant John V. Zocchi

By Hans Mooren January 27, 2007 at 11:37:40

Hi,

I am from The Netherlands, and I am doing some research to find information and/or relatives of a soldier killed in Western Europe during ww2.

The closest info I have on his last known addres (wartime) is something like:

John V. Zocchi

153 Medowbrook Av
San Francisco 16

This addres has too be treated with some caution, as it comes from wartime unofficial german records. In this record, he is called 'Jack' (by error).

He is now burried on a cemetary in Holland.
As there is a story to his death, I am trying to find out whatever possible. It seems that he was probably born in 1914 and his mothers last name was probably Maritall.

If I could locate a relative that can me something about this soldier, I would be very pleased.

You can contact me under
