The day we remember all those brave young men, and women, who gave their lives in the service of their country.
We especially remember our tent mates, work mates and mess mates of the 3rd Bomb. Gp. and all the individual Sqs., who gave their lives from WW I to the present day.May they find peace and comfort in God's Heavenly Kingdom.
The following is the fourth verse from the poem For The Fallen (1914) written by Laurence Binyon (1869-1943). It is said to be part of many military cemeteries.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
