Dennis, my standard caveat before beginning: I am a hobbyist and not an expert. I will share with you what I believe to be true, but be sure to confirm all info independently.
From the subject line of your post (decoration or citation) and the body of your message, I would guess what you are describing is content found in the "Decorations and Citations" section of a WWII era Honorable Discharge. Of course I have no way of being sure, but what you describe as, "'CO 160 Kg' 30th infantry with OLC", I would guess to be "GO160 Hq". I believe this would designate General Order number 160 from headquarters of the 30th Infantry Division, which would probably be the order authorizing a Purple Heart. OLC would be, I believe, Oak Leaf Cluster. OLC's were awarded for subsequent wounds, so he must have been wounded previously? Do you think my observations might be on track? Perhaps someone with more experience or better insights can add or correct.
