28 Airborne Tank Battalion

Looking for info on the 28 Airborne Tank Battalion.It was activated 6 December 1943 at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Reorganized and redesignated as the 28th Tank Battalion, 20 October 1944.My Dad was a communications/radio officer.Thanks for any leads.
