WW II - Lapel / Hat pin?
While going through some mementos of my father and my brother (both served in the Army) I found an odd looking pin & I am hoping someone might be able to tell me if it came from the WWII era when my Dad served or if it came from the 1950 era when my brother served.
Among the mementos is a partial picture that shows this pin on the epaulet of an Army uniform.
Wish I were an artist!
The upper part of the pin, the pin is abt 1 inch by 1 inch, looks like a shield which is yellow. On the inner part of the shield; on a red background; is a row of three ? (looks something like a lily) and under the three ? are 2 other ?.
There is a ribbon half way down on each side of the shield and under all of that is a bar that reads: Undaunted, Unconquered, Unexcelled.
I have been all over the web and cannot find anything that looks like this pin!
As always --Thank you for your help..
