I'm helping a friend who is trying to find out where her uncle, Amilcare M. Ciaburri, serial number 32710694 U.S. Army, is buried. He was KIA on Luzon, June of 1945. He was with the 198th Anti-Aircrafy Artillery Battaion. She has check the Manila American Cemetary, in Manila, and he isn't listed their. She doesn't know if he was brought back to the U.S. for buriel. Did they bring back men who was KIA, back to the states by request only? He was from New York.
