Is there WWI info avail if still living?
To Ol' Uncle Bob-who seems quite knowledgable about this subject...
I want to know if I can still obtain records of service on my dad if he's still living. He was in the Marines '43/44-'47/48. I know that he was in training somewhere in Arizona or New Mexico, and was sent to Hawaii/Pearl Harbor. He and my Uncle met in the marines. He never talked to me about his service, and now his memory isn't so good. I read where you said to send a 20cent post card for information-would this apply to someone who's still alive??
Thanks in advance for your time to read this.
