No, I am no relation to Paul L. Turner, though I am sure that he is a fine fellow.
I was the only Turner in my family branch from my generation to go overseas.
I passed through Karachi, Pakistan, twice in 1983, about 35 years after the area left the British Protectorate of India.
Sorry, but the only information I have available regarding the RANDALL is as listed in my post, which came from the referenced Troop Ship Crossing List.
I checked my other references, and found absolutely nothing on the two ships or on the two military units you seek.
I can't think of anything else I could do to assist you, but am willing to follow up any suggestions you may make. OK ?
I will check out your three web sites this afternoon.
