People who knew Dmytro Lopuschansky (originally spelled Lopuschanskyj) toward the end of his life said that he had a concentration camp prisoner number tattooed on his arm, but they didn't know which camp(s) he had been in and couldn't remember the number.
He was from Tyshovnitsa, Lvivska Oblast, Ukraine. Besides checking with the obvious organizations (JewishGen, USHMM, etc.), I've also Googled Lvov/Lwow/Lviv/Lemberg Ghetto, Belzec, Janowska, Zaslaw, and all the major concentration and death camps for lists of their prisoners. It seems his name is nowhere to be found.
Does anyone have any suggestions of other places/sources to search? Also, if you knew Dmytro before, during, or after the war, please contact me with anything else you know about him; I have very little information about him so far. Thanks!
