MN National Guard - 151st FA Bn - WW II
I am trying to locate anyone who served with the Minnesota National Guard 151st or 175th FA Bn during WW II. My father served-went to Camp Colaiborne, LA; then Ft Dix, NJ; then to Ireland; Algeria-French Morocco; Tuns, North Africa; then D Day Landing at Salerno Beach; Rome Arno; No Appenines; and Po Valley. He never talked about the war and I am trying to find out what I can about the battles he may have been in. He received a Silver Star at Fondouk, Tunis, No Africa in Mar of 1943.
I do have a copy of Bud Wagner's book "And there shall be wars." It helps, but I would like more. Thank you so very much for any help in advance.
