There were several 19th Squadrons. The 19th Liaison Squadron seems to fit the bill. Organized as 19th Observation Squadron (Light) in March 1942, the squadron was redesignated in April 1943. Arrived in India in April 1944; China the following month. Served with U. S. Army Forces, China-Burma-India (CBI) Theatre (April - May 1944), Fourteenth Air Force (May - August 1944) and Tenth Air Force (August - December 1945). Flew L-1's, L-2's, L-3's, L-4's, L-5's, L-6's, A-20's, B-25's, DB-7's, P-39's and P-51's throughout the course of the war. Inactivated at Fort Lewis, Washington in December 1945.
