Try to locate a copy of "The 85th Infantry Division in World War II" by Paul L. Schultz (Infantry Journal Press, Washington, D. C., 1949). It's one of those "yearbooks" that proliferated in the years immediately following the war. You might locate a copy through Inter-Library Loan. Many libraries are becoming increasingly reluctant to lend these old treasures but it's worth a try.
