My dad PFC Edward Webber served as a rifleman in Company L 47th Infantry 9th Infantry Division. On this Veterans Day wanted to pay tribute to the infantrymen in Company L, 2nd Squad who lost their lives on the front lines in Europe WWII.PFC James Murphy; PFC Homer Cavanaugh (BAR man); PFC Joe White; Sgt. Most were shot off the backs of 3rd Armored Division tanks during the April 1945 'Task Force Hogan' Allied drive towards the Elbe River. Also a tribute to the thousands and thousands of servicemen killed in WWII.
