To have OL' Uncle Bob tell you about accessing records will cost you $75. If you want to know a little about what your getting for that amount you will receive a nasty reply from Bob.
You can try the Jefferson Barracks St Louis address, you could be one of lucky ones whose files weren't destroyed. If you have the discharge papers of the person your looking for look on line 33 "Decorations and Citations". If it has a WDGO plus a number you can write for that. It's stands for "War Department General Order (whatever number)" I will look up the address and post it. Plus you can get some of the medical records if the person was treated. That's under the Freedom of Information Act.
Read back through the message list, there are all kinds of free info on how to get records.
