293rd JASCO
Seeking any former members of the 293rd JASCO (Joint Assault Signal Company)which participatyed in the Normandy landing and also saw action later in New Guinea and Luzon. My father (US Army Capt. Arthur C. Madden)was a NSFCO directing naval gunfire. I believe that he was attached to the 115th IR of the 29th Div. for the Normandy landing, tho I'm not sure.JASCO history is practically non-existent and my father, who never talked about his experiences, has since died 13 years ago.
Any information will be sincerely appreciated!
