Dear Suzanne, At Last, I have so many e-mails to catch up on, I hope this is not a repeat. However I will list what I have, Starting at my earlist William b 1822 m Frances Garrett, their 2 children William b 1853 & Mary Ann b 1852. William b 1853 m Pricilla Edith Everingham and their children are as follow. Ernest William 1874, Gertrude 1875, another Ernest William 1877, Venus Wilhelima 1879, Blanche 1882, Herbert William 1882, Edith Mary 1884, Oswold 1886, Harold 1888, Arthur 1890,Cecil 1891.
With the two Ernest Williams'I think the first one died, hence the second naming which was quite common in those days. The two born in 1882, were not twins to my knowledge. I myself would like to catch up with more of the family but that is all that I have and I hope this helps in some way. I noted that your lot are from Tasmania, this is very interesting because according to a story that was passed down through the rellies,a William Henry Pearce who married Venus Plummer left N.S.W and took his family to Tasmania. No one has found them to this day.He was my grandfather's brother, and he disappeard after a violent argument . Other rellies have stated that there was a murder committed after an argument between two brothers.
Even today they are still a very closed lot. Those of the family descendants who still are alive , know of the story, but do you think that they will tell What really happened... No way. So if this helps to add a colourful character or two to your history, we may eventually find a link, but most of us who started on this journey will never really know , Will They?
