Robert,Thanks for your reply.I do not know his last name.He thought it was Mueller/Moeller/Miller, however, in looking over names from Austria, that name does not seem to be Austrian or Slavic, it seems to be German.I now believe he was born in Green Bay circa 1881 and was one of the younger children.By 1884 he was adopted into the Greulich family.A pendant he once gave me had Austro_Hungarian empire on it, and he claimed that his family was Austrian.I no longer have the pendant he gave me as a child. His parents were a Duke & Duchess (supposedly) who left Austria because of political turmoil and came to US.They died (evidently) close to each other and left their children, property, et al to an aunt of the children who placed them in orphan homes. He said the orphanage he was in burnt and records were destroyed.I assume that orphanage was in or near Green Bay.He was adopted into a home in Appleton, WI.Thanks again.
