Thank you for the thoughts.Yes, I knew about Austria-Hungary.(I just put Austria because that is term GCGS used.)I am sure Czech.Area around Williamson Co., TX was heavily Czech.On censuses, the widow of the Joseph Kadlec--b. 1868--listed her country of origin as Bohemia & Moravia.The man she married 2nd, Mr Karl, was from Austria-Hungary.
