Hi and thanks for the info.By the way my friend informed me the correct spelling is BAUMEISTER without the R.The thing I am interested in is finding maybe a birth certificate on her.My friend doesn't even know if she is still alive (she was born in 1936, but I don't know the area).She 'left' her family (my friend and her sibs) very early and my friend doesn't even know if she is still alive.I thought I would start with a birth record.I think this might be hard!Thanks for your tips.
