FLEMISH EMIGRANTS from Belgium to England 1700s

I am researching my ancestor who emigrated out of Belgium in the mid-1700s,and settled in Canterbury, Kent.His name was Hendrick van Essenhoogh, though various spellings have been used.He settled in the Huguenot/Flemish district of Canterbury.Anyone with any details of Flemish emigrants from Belgium during that time?Any information appreciated.
