I desire express better my thoughts:
I observe that first was the people called BREUCI, only later went the Romans. So I hipothesize that people called himself BRECKO, and after Romans called him BREUCI ( breuco), a latin form for a foreign name hard to pronounce.
The Breuci history and actual presence of Brecko surname in european territories where the Romans disposed the Breuci war veterans may be, I think, a signal.
With the arrival of Kroats, Brecko name of they who remained in original site may be become Brcko in consequence of a grammatical contraction
of the new language. ( Brcko surname is now frequent in actual Kroazia).
Thank you for your attention.
