CAROLINE BARNUM MACDONELL descendants

Seeking any and all information pertaining to the descendants of CAROLINE BARNUM & GODFREY MACDONELL (son of John "the Priest" Macdonell & Magdeleine Poitras).

Godfrey Macdonell & Caroline Barnum (dtr of Richard Barnum & Emilie Hitchcock) were married in Rigaud on Feb 9, 1835.Of 4 children born to them, only one is known to have survived to adulthood. Her name was Victoria Hortense, born on Sept 29. 1838 in St Eugene, Ontario. Godfrey Macdonell, a navigator died on June 17, 1843. He was 36 years old.Caroline Barnum will later remarry in St Raphael, Ontario.(Jan 30.1850), Her second husband was Charles Leclair.

Victoria Hortense first married Andrew Cullen while there are no known children from this union. She will remarry DR NAPOLEON LECLAIR in St Raphael, Glengarry On June 24, 1862. A son, (DR) MILES ALEXANDER LECLAIR was born from this union.

MILES ALEXANDER LECLAIR will marry CAROLINE LALONDE from Carillon, Quebec circa early 1900s. The family must have moved to Manitoba for a time seeing their children appear to have been born there. They include: Muriel Hortense (1903, Milestone, Mb) Lucille Marie Antoinette (1907, Barrows, Mb), Eugene Marie (1911, Barrows, Mb), Blanche Henriette (1914, Letellier, Mb).
