ruth pickering was born in Canada, oct 15, 1893 possibly in Ontario but moved to Winipeg, Manitoba where her father was a violinist.She married Albert Newman born in Faringdon, Berkshire, England in Clearwater, Maniboba in 1914.He was a superintendent of lands for the Canadian Pacific Railway. Later they moved to Calgary.
Any info on Pickerings or Newmans in Canada would be appreciated.
