Isaac Dillon b. c1858 Canada

Has anyone come across Isaac Dillon b.c1858 somewhere in Canada in census records or other records?
Isaac was the brother of my 3xgreat grandfather John who was born in New York c1856. Apparantly the family, Isaac, John and their parents Thomas and Ann who were both born in Lancashire, England also had a home in Ireland when John was a small boy.
If this is true , they never stayed in Canada for very long. They finally settled and died in Cheshire, England.
Could anyone give me some clues as to how to go further with this please? I would be very, very grateful. Thanks, Sue.
