Re: 1881 Census Lookup Please -Grey Co., ON

I sure could use some help with an 1881 census Look too.I'm trying to help a friend of my mothers find her Grandfather Robert McClinton b. abt. 1866 County Grey, Ont.I found in the 1871 census index online, a Robert McClinton b. 1818 in Bentinck Sub. Dist. (E) Div.1 page2 C9951, Grey South (036)but it doesn't list the family.
I'm wondering if this could be the same family?He was in B.C. by 1889.
Any help would be great.
