Eva Lukosevich or Lukas died aprox. 1927-1929 shortly after my Husbands father Petras (Peter) left Lithuania and lived in Canada for a few years, than moved on to Detroit, MI. Eva is of German origin but lived in Lithuania before Lithuania earned their independance. I have one picture of her before she died in her eighties (I'm guessing). She married Simonas Zilinskas and had thirteen children. Simonas died when Petras was a very young boy. He is said to be the youngest of the children. They were married aprox. 14-16 years. I know nothing more at this time. Petras Zilinskas had an older brother named Stanley Zilinskas who also served with Petras in the Lithuanian Army. I have a picture of them together in 1921. We also have a picture of Stanley, his wife and five children but do not even know their names. The Zilinskas or Zlines who emigrated to the USA through Canada all settled in Michigan and lived there most of their lives. They are all gone now except for my husband's cousins. So it makes it even harder to trace the Lukosevich or Lukas family side as I have nothing concrete to go with. There could be a connection but I cannot be of too much help at this time. I shall keep you in mind when I can get more info from Lihtuania.
