Henry Allis, aged 29, b. Niagara Falls, of Aurora, widower, farmer, son of Thos. Alliss & Lucy Hutchinson, married Maria Appleton, aged 26, b. McGillivary Township, Middlesex County, spinster, daughter of Thomas Appleton & Susanna Peel; witnesses: Stephen Nigh & Elizabeth Elliott, both of Richmond Hill; 13 February 1889 at Markham (York County).
Henry must have died shortly afterwards as I found a remarriage for Maria, a widow, to a Thomas H. Astleford on 22 May 1894 in Toronto. He did have a son, Wm. Herbert, who died 25 February 1881, aged 7 months, in Amherstburg.
John H. Allis, aged 20, b. Queenston, of Essex Ontario, bachelor, hardware merchant, son of Thos. Alliss & Lucy Hutchinson, married Janet Josephine Beattie, aged 24, b. Maidston, of Essex Ontario, spinster, daughter of Thos. Beattie & Ruth Greenaway; witnesses: W.H. Jones & Mary Jones, both of Windsor; 22 November 1894 at Windsor
John Hutchinson Allis, of 3 Lincoln Road, Walkerville (Essex Co.), died 4 March 1925, aged 63 years, 2 months, 19 days, b. 13 December 1862 at Niagara, owned a hardware store, son of John Allis (sic), b. England, and mother's name not known; informant was Mrs. J. Allis, wife. Burial in Aurora.
