HI; I'm not related to the Loves, but this from "Early Settlements of King Township, Ontario" by Elizabeth McClure Gillham. Hope it provides some help.
Temperanceville: page 104
"James and Mary Love came with their three children to Lot 67, concession 1, King, in the year 1804.Besides being a farmer, James Love was a shoemaker, a charcoal burner, weaver for his own family - and a complete abstainer. His descendants continued to live in the community for many years.Church services were held in James Love's home from the time the family arrived, and consequently the place was called Love's Corner until 1877".
The book also lists an E.W. Love, Arthur Love, Jean C. Love, and Robert Love.
Let me know if you are interested in that information.
Good luck.
