Are you asking a question or just giving some information? Apenrade is the German name for the Danish town of Aabenraa which, at the time you are talking about, would have been under German rule. Very nice place next to the water (fjord, but not by usual Scandinavian standards)and about 20 minutes drive from the current German border.
