thank you for your quick response,yes John Brierley was born 1855 in Penwortham Preston,died in Birkenhead 1894.
On his sons' (Phillip )birth cert it shows the mother as Lillie nee Williams,b 1856c don't know where she was born but family seem to think Wales.
Lillie was married prior to ? Hayman,and what you have given me maybe Lillie was really Elizabeth.John Brierley owned or was mainly a licencee of many,too many to mention,hotels in Liverpool.
The other children of John and Lillie that I can confirm are,Phillip b 27-8-1884
Lillie b 1886c
Annie B b1887C
MaggieB b1890c
After John died she married ? Brazier
