1700s famous porcelain painter Zachariah Boreman
Hello,
Does anyone have any biographical/genealogical information about "the father of painting landscapes on porcelain"?
Zachariah Boreman (1736 - 1810) I know he worked at the
Chelsea Porcelain Factory in London, before moving to Derby,
where his more famous work was produced. And I know he
moved back to London in his latter years around 1794.
Of most importance -
I'm interested to know who his parents were, whether he
had siblings, who he married and the names of any children.
My g-g-g-g grandfather Zachariah Boreman, married
Sarah Burnett 26 Dec, 1759, St James, Westminster,
London, England...and my g-g-g grandfather, Zachariah
James Boreman, was born 5 Aug, 1764, Saint Luke, Chelsea,
London, England.
Zachariah was a namesake in my family tree and I am
trying to make the connection, if its there.
Thank You.
