Yes, my apologies. Ann married George and Thomas was one of their sons.
At the moment, I'm not sure who her (Ann's) father and mother were - I did wonder if Ann was her mother and she was now helping inDinah's shop. The date of 2nd. Novemebr 1847 was the wedding of Ann and George in St. Swithun's, Great Chishill. I hope to be in contact with the church wardens there and find out a bit more about the 2 families.
We found the graves of Elizabeth and Eliza Pitty in the graveyard of the Congregational Church. We have an old picture of George Wood (possibly with Ann) standing near a delapidated barn. A local historian thinks that stood in front of the Congregational Church ( and was used for worship during the rebuilding of the Church). If so that's very interesting as the house next door but one has a plaque saying it was the old village shop! And next to that is an old house called "Grays" which looks very similar to that in a picture of Thomas, Emily and their first 4 children!
Love to hear more from you.
Kind regards
Duncan
