Hi Tom......what did you want to know about Louis ?Hewas the son of Peter Koehl and Mary Rickling of Reichshaffen, Alsace, born 1834, came to America in 1856 and settled in Cincinnati, OHIO near his brother Frank. Then removed to St. Mary's, Ohio where he stayed, again following his brother Frank.He was a grocer and very important person in town.Does this information fit with your families information ??Both Frank and Louis were important grocerymen and have many descendants here in "the States".

I have 1st. Henri KOEHL, b. abt. 1738, Reichshoffen, married abt 1763 to Odile GUTMANN

2nd. Francois b 1764, Reich. m. 1792 Marie Anne SCHNEIDER, b.1763...he d. 1830....she d. 1814.Then comes Peter.Are these your ancestors.I'll be waiting for your answer.your "cousin", Jean
