I have been looking for an Anna Austing whose name is found as a witness on a family document(marriage certificate) dated 1904 and taking place in Cincinnati, Ohio. Theother name was Stephan Anton. The wedded couple was from the Alsace area and came over to the USA in early 1900's. The marriage took place at the St Augustine church there. Could this Anna be any kin to the Stephan in your inquiry? The name of the wedded couple was John Bohn And Anna Elizabeth Layer/Lalger/Laljer. They lived in Hamilton. Where can I get more info about your Austins? Since they were ancestors of mine I am very much interested. I have been trying to find more info also about the Bohns and Layer.
