Correct spelling is Aufzögling or anglicised version Aufzoegling.

An Aufzögling is a child that you take care of to grow it up. This was sometimes used for children that were integrated into the family but the biological parents were others. Happened for illegitime children for examplewhere the grandparents took care of the child. This is not always so !!!, means you have to proove
the truth. In a second sense it also means simply the children was in the age of a baby.
