The only census I have found on her is a 1920 census after she married. On that census it states she was Naturalized in either 1917 or 1919. I can't quite read the date. I don't have a picture of her headstone. I'm in the works of getting that. I live about 2000 miles away from where she passed. If I remember correctly, she spoke English. She was born in Germany, but raised in the U.S. The 1920 census shows her coming to the U.S. in 1890. She would've been very young, either 1 or 2, when she came here. I have only seen her maiden name spelled 2 different ways, Tetslow & Tetzlaw. I did find a 1900 census for a John Tetzlaw in Pittsburgh, PA, but Mary was not on that census. When that 1900 census was taken she would've been 12-13 years old. I'm not sure if that is her Father & Mother in that 1900 census or not. I'm guessing I better start looking into her Naturalization paperwork to find out more. I never thought to look for that. Thank you!
