Hi Mike,
Happy Easter.
I had a look at Ralph's reply to you and feel as though I'm missing something ... why the references to Co. Cork, Co. Tipperary and Co. Tyrone?
The Shankill Parish stretches from Greencastle in the north of the Parish to Malone in the south of the Parish. Here's an article about the Shankill Graveyard which may interest you ... http://www.geocities.com/lagangdb/shankill.htmhttp://www.geocities.com/lagangdb/shankill.htm
I have a copy of The Register of the Parish of Shankill 1745 - 1761 edited by Raymond Gillespie and Alison O'Keefe which was published in 2006 by the Representative Church Library of Braemor Park, Dublin 14. The name Lucas isn't listed in the book so it looks as though your ancestors settled in the Parish later than 1761.
There don't seem to be any online records available but if you post the denomination of the family I may be able to point you towards church records that would be worth a look.
Christopher
