Trying to trace the County Cork ancestry of Robert Allen.He was born 1 Jan 1855 in County Cork and immigrated to the US in 1873.On the US 1880 census he was at Chicago, single, RR brakeman.1900 census at Crandall, Harrison Co IN, RR laborer, with wife Henrietta (Ashworthy) Allen, b 1855, son James age 20, son John age 15, son George age 9, daughter Anna age 5, son William age 2.1910 census at Wade, Jasper Co, IL, with wife Henrietta, occupation RR section foreman.1920 census widowed, on census of daughter Anna Allen, at Newton, Jasper Co, IL, occupation RR section foreman.Died 15 Oct 1924 Newton IL.Any information or background on Robert Allen would be appreciated.
