Yes, that is what I am referring to.Obviously Cyprien Tanquay had to have some form of documentation to include this in his work, and I have a feeling that the it is the source for the IGI entery.
I am not as familiar with French research, but I know French documentation is usually plentiful if you know where to look.But if you experts cannot find the source, I probably have nothing else to add.
I did know that when looking for Gagnon, Mercier, and Cote ancestors, I found the Seigneurie records referred to and maybe that is where the info is inclued?Louis Lamoureux had to have land before marriage, I believe, which was in Quebec...(do marriage records include reference to birth like the processi do in Italian records?)Anyway, his land was in the Seigeurie Notre Dame de Agnes......prehaps this might reference his age and place of birth.These were formal documents......
