Thanks for the reply back.
I am sorry that you did not get exposed to the Korean culture while growing up. It has been in the last 15 years, or so, that the adoption agencies have stressed the importancethat adoptive parents be involved in the childs culture. For our two, they are in Korean playgroup each week and we go to the Korean restaurant at least once a month. Once they are older, they will be enrolled in Korean Culture Camp and Korean language school. My husband and I try to speak a little Korean to them on a daily basis, ie..."no", "I love you", "yes", "eat", and "come here". Our Korean vocabulary is small, but we are learning each time we attend a function or eat at the local Korean restaurant. Luckily, we live in a heavily populated Korean area - which has been great and the Korean people have been so kind to my children and my family.
