This is a reply to Jason Lacis.I read that you are interested in anybody with the same surname as yourself.

My father was Latvian and my mother is English.I would be interested in contacting any relatives.My father was born in Latvia near Cesis, in about 1920.His name is Janis Lacis, his mothers maiden name was Mellups, he had a sister called Olga Lacis.I believe they came from a village called Dezerbene.

I believe that I may have some relatives in Canada.

If anybody has any information I would greatly appreciate it.
