Kripowicz/Kripavicius from Kaunas?
Looking for any info relating to my ggrandfather, Stanislaus Kripowicz and his family. He came over in the 1890's, where he met and married Franceska Ceputis, also from Lithuania. They lived in Pittsburgh. His brother Adam came over later and settled in Pullman, Illinois, or so the story goes. I believe that they were from the Kaunas area. I have also seen the name spelled Krypowicz, Kryzipowicz and Kripavicius. He was buried at St Casimir's under a stone which reads "Kripaviciu seimyna 1930". Any info appreciated!
