Niels Johnson(Johannesen) was born Aug. 21 1832 in Hillestad, Buskerud, Norway. I don't have the records for whether or not he died in Norway or the US. The brothers parents are Ellen Kristine Hans Jorgesndatter who was born May 13, 1808 in Klovestad Sandsvaer, Buskerud, Norway and Johannes Neilsen who was born in 1798 in Sandsvaer, Buskerud, Norway and he died in 1873. They were married Dec. 27 1830 in Hillestad, Buskerud, Norway. I have more information on Jacob than his brothers and sisters because of the direct line to him, but he was born in the May of 1845 in Sandsvaer, Buskerud, Norway and he died Nov 12, 1912. When his family emmigrated to the United States they Americanized their names. While in Norway his name was Jakob Kornelius Johannesen and in America it was Cornelius Jacob Johnson. He married Mary J Messenger in 1870 the year he emmigrated to America.I have the information for the births and deaths of Jacob's brothers and sisters if you would like that as well.
