I left copies of the census records I had printed with my boss today and don't have them in front of me now. Thank you for straightening me out on how to read that census. I need to get the copies back and study them now that you have shown me how to correctly interpret them.
From what Terry said, Agnes had been married before and brought into her marriage with Adam several children. I will ask Terry if he knows their names (one was Veronica).
Then Adam and Agnes had four sons, one of whom is Terry's father.
Something is very puzzling here. If the 1910 census states that Adam & Agnes had been married for 18 years and each lists it as their 1st marriage, they would have married about 1882.
But there is a marriage record where Agnes married John Kewicz/Koridge (or whatever his name was) in 1888.
And another marriage record of Agnes (this time her name is Mrs. Jarkewicz!!) to Adam in 1902.
My boss said that the four children of Adam and Agnes were: Anthony "Tony", Edward, Theodore, and Stanley.
Yet Tony is listed as the oldest child on the 1910 census. My boss said that Veronica was one of the children that Agnes brought into her marriage with Adam -- yet this census lists all of the children with the KIOSJKIEWICZ surname -- and Veronica is YOUNGER than Tony !!!
I must be missing something! This is not adding up!!
