My research so far has not connected with any Kusmierz in Galicia. What ancestors I found came from the Prussia area (N.E. Poland). My g-great father had a brother named John who was married to an Agatha Habowski, but he died in 1871 at Poland. She remarried to a Thomas Kozuch, then came to USA.
