Ignace T. Budrewicz - resided Russia Holkenik around 1899

I am trying to find out more regarding my husband's family. Ignace T. Budrewicz was born somewhere around 1881 in Lithuania. He immigrated to the US on September 22,1899 on the ship Oldenburg. It listed his place of residence on the ship's manifest as Russia Holkenik.He married Martha Discawicz in 1908 in the US. They had 12 children while living in MA. Can anyone tell me how to go about finding any information prior to that? Any help would be appreciated
