My grandfather was William Harkness and he was born May 14, 1867 in West Lothian Uphall, Scotland, his siblings Thomas born 22 Sep 1869, West Lothian, Uphall, Robert Kennedy born 22 Apr 1871, West Lothian, Uphall, Littleless Barr born Nov 1, 1873, West Lothian, Bathgate, Mary Kennedy born 02 Mar 1875, West Lothian, Bathgate. Their parents John Harkness b. abt 1840 died after 1895, his wife Mary Kennedy born abt 1840 died bef 1895.
